We believe that the sea and sailing offer a uniquely powerful experience to connect with nature, with each other, and with ourselves. To us, floating in a secluded bay surrounded by beautiful nature is the ultimate retreat, and a sailing adventure together with friends is an unforgettable shared memory.
We like to call these kinds of retreats: seatreats.
We made it our mission to create many such journeys to some of the most magnificent places around the world. Over the last four years, we’ve had the privilege to welcome many friends old and new onboard our sailing catamaran ‘Purpose’ as we ventured to 20 countries and counting.

Few places around the world represent the essence of a tropical island paradise quite like French Polynesia. With widely esteemed names such as Bora Bora and Tahiti as well as lesser known but equally spectacular islands like Raiatea, Taha’a, and Huahine, the Society Islands symbolise the South Pacific dream. Sail inside the islands’ calm turquoise lagoons below their distinctive lush mountains. Swim among lively coral reefs and stroll along white sandy beaches on the small motu islands dotted all around the lagoons. Immerse yourself in an extraordinary warm and welcoming ancient Polynesian culture.

French Polynesia: Tuamotus
April - June 2027

The Tuamotu archipelago in French Polynesia is the largest chain of atolls in the world. Sparsely populated and spread across a vast area of the South Pacific, they represent one of the most remote tropical sailing grounds. Their expansive sheltered lagoons, walls, and passes are a safe haven for a stunning variety of sea life offering world-class diving and snorkeling. Among the most famous spots are Rangiroa, Tikehau, and Fakarava with a UNESCO biosphere reserve spanning numerous surrounding atolls. Sail with us across endless turquoise lagoons, experience truly remote island life, and become witness to awe-inspiring biodiversity in this untouched South Pacific paradise.
Thailand & Malaysia: Langkawi - Phuket
November 2028 - April 2029
The stretch of the Andaman Sea between Langkawi and Phuket covers several connected archipelagos along the lush coasts of Malaysia and Thailand. Known in particular for their iconic limestone cliffs and majestic monoliths, the unique scenery of these islands presents the perfect backdrop for a quintessential South East Asia sailing trip. From tranquil nature and stunning wildflife to bustling towns and colourful cuisines, a one-way voyage through this region offers a perfect blend of nature-inspired relaxation, adventure, and cultural exploration. Multiple marine parks including a UNESCO Geopark, mangrove forests, hidden caves, white sand beaches, and crystal clear lagoons teeming with underwater life are waiting to be explored just as much as vibrant walking streets, historic old towns, busy markets, and exciting eateries including the UNESCO Creative City of Gastronomy, Phuket.

Experience the adventure of sailing in breathtaking nature while living on the water in true comfort onboard our elegant Fountaine Pajot Saba 50 sailing catamaran ‘Purpose’.
Our 4 modern ensuite double cabins (5 upon request) comfortably accommodate 8 (10) guests plus 3 crew in 2 additional cabins.
A generous dining and lounge area on the shaded aft deck, an elevated lounge on the flybridge with sweeping views, and a wide lounge area on the foredeck with a trampoline net above the water provide ample space for relaxation and conviviality.
Carefully selected interior designs create a warm contemporary feel and environmentally friendly products and practices help us preserve the pristine nature we cherish every day.
Extensive equipment, continuous upgrades, meticulous maintenance, and a comprehensive refit over the last years ensure that ‘Purpose’ is always set up to the latest standards of comfort, design, autonomy, and safety - even in the remotest areas.

Upon request, we may be able to offer an additional 5th cabin with queen-sized double bed and en-suite bathroom to be able to accommodate up to 10 guests.
All our cabins come equipped with two different pillows per person, high-quality bed linen, multiple towel sizes, air-conditioning, electric fans, reusable water bottles, watertight beach bags, and freshwater electrical toilets.

The deck, galley and saloon area are comprised of a fully equipped kitchen, an inside seating area, and a covered, outside dining area with a fridge stocked full of your favourite drinks.
Above the dining area is the upper seating area, which offers incredible views, comfortable cushioned seating, and the amazing sea breeze that can only be experienced fully on the open water.

In the front of the boat, there are cushions for lounging, dolphin seats, that as the name suggests, are perfect for scouting dolphins, and a net that allows you to feel like you are flying above the water.

The rooms vary in terms of size, height and layout of the bed, white noise, and movement on the water, so everyone is sure to find one that fits their needs perfectly.

Florian always loved exploring the world, his curiosity and sense for adventure has taken him to beautiful nature and bustling cities in over 60 countries.
Since he started sailing at age 11, he developed a deep appreciation for the unique experiences it offers: proximity to nature, freedom and independence to travel, space and inspiration to enjoy the moment, and the opportunity to bring friends together for an unforgettable adventure.
During his teenage summers he taught at a sailing school and later took his friends cruising every year to more than 20 different countries, from tropical waters to the arctic circle.
He holds a RYA Yachtmaster Offshore license with several additional certificates in sailing and safety at sea.
Previously, Florian held an international leadership position at a top global NGO. Among others, he hosted exclusive events and retreats for leading changemakers at unique locations around the world, from the World Economic Forum and royal family estates to innovative sustainable spaces. He is always keen to find new ways of making our wonderful world an even better place while celebrating its incredible beauty.
4 years ago now, Florian fulfilled his lifelong dream of owning and living on a sailboat. Since then, he has been welcoming friends old and new on an inspiring journey to the most magnificent places around the world.

From Sísí’s upbringing between Iceland, Greenland and Denmark, she has always lived a life of adventure and proximity to untamed nature. She has travelled to over 40 countries and islands across four continents. She has previous sailing experience in Greenland and Denmark but properly discovered her love for boat life during her first Atlantic crossing, while crewing for 'Purpose'. She has done sailing in the Arctic ocean, Caribbean sea, Atlantic ocean, and the Mediterranean sea. Sísí speaks six languages at different levels, being fluent in English, Icelandic and Danish, and intermediate in German, Italian, and Spanish. She has a BSc degree in psychology and has worked in the field of mental health, working with people with physical, mental and developmental disabilities.

Michael found his culinary passion at a young age growing up in the UK with his mother, a passionate cook, and his grandmother, who recently released her latest Ethiopian cook book aged 97! Starting early with these diverse flavours encouraged him to be confident and bold with his cooking.
Michael began as a grill chef in street food and restaurant kitchens all over London. It was not long before his talent was noticed and he was asked to start catering private events and doing supper clubs. He loves experimenting with different cuisines and individual tastes including vegetarian and vegan.
Michael has been on board Purpose for three years, blessing us with his incredible talent for thinking on the spot and creating unforgettable dishes based on every group’s special preferences and cravings.
Our story
In 2021, seven sailing friends came together to fulfil and collectively fund a dream: purchase a spacious sailing catamaran to be able to share their love for the sea, nature, and quality time with many friends and guests alike on a journey to the most beautiful places of our blue planet. They were united by their experience that spending time together on the water brought them closer to nature, their friends, and the present, allowing them to deeply rest, reflect, and connect - far away from their busy lives on land.
Since then, we have had the privilege to welcome countless wonderful guests on board, be awe-inspired by nature’s beauty, meet incredible wildlife, survive an orca attack, cross oceans multiple times, make new friends, and even found love along the way. As we look into the future, we can’t wait to continue our journey around the world and welcome you onboard - let’s make this story one for the books!
